Background
Rowan grew up hiding in libraries, and exploring them. They were most drawn to fiction and real heroines of the past, who broke conventions and charted their own destinies. This draw stayed with them as they graduated college with a BA in English and psychology where they wrote about the mythology of Battle Goddesses. After quitting their corporate job with Dell Technologies, they dedicated more time to working part-time to pursue their writing, supported by their doting partner.
Rowan wrote a Sapphic, short story featuring an Alpha werewolf who ran away to start her own pack, but then she returns to unresolved romantic feelings for her best, childhood friend. This short story gained so much traction that they launched their own blog featuring Sapphic short stories that explore monster romance, paranormal romance, and horror romance.
